Every place, on foot

The map, at ground level: the same land, roads and towns, with every place in the codex standing where the map puts it. Go in through a door to the workshop, the sea in the sardine tin, the theatre in the walnut, the endless showroom. Each way between them is a door, a ladder, a lid or a shell, as the codex records it. Walk up to anything to read what it is.

A representation, drawn from the codex’s topology and the knowledge graph. Everything in it is AI-generated, and proposed places and things are marked proposed.

Walk with WASD or the arrow keys (Shift runs), and drag to look. Walk into a door, or press Enter, to go in. Tab moves between the doors and things you can see. The map in the corner opens the map where you are.
